About us

We’ve been around for about eight-years and gone from being a little-known tech start-up to creating our very own community at the heart of the tech and digital epicentre of the UK - Manchester.

Our name Naimuri is Japanese and simply means…

‘nai’ meaning ‘not’

‘muri’ meaning ‘overburden’

These principles apply to every aspect of an organisation from technology, process and infrastructure, through to people, culture and leadership. This means that we empower our teams to do what they think is the right thing, giving them the skills and confidence to explore new ways of working, and to create a bias-free environment, where all our people feel comfortable collaborating to deliver the finest ideas and solutions in an agile environment.

Our business is focused on 4 cornerstones, which shape and underpin the way in which we go about work and treat each other. These are: Wellbeing, Empowerment, Perpetual Edge and Delivery.

People and culture are at the heart of Naimuri, so that collectively, we can realise our mission of ‘making the UK a safer place to be’.

About the role and team

The Bid Co-ordinator role will assist our wider Business Development (BD) function by supporting and facilitating the organisation, scheduling and tracking of the pre-qualification, qualification, proposal development and approval stages of Naimuri’s formally documented end-to-end bid process.

Working closely with our Bid Manager and Sector Leads, the Bid Coordinator core responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Bid Manager in monitoring several framework portals, to effectively identify new bid opportunities that are aligned to Naimuri’s key capabilities and values.
  • Updating the Bid Activity tracker, as required, to ensure this tool is both accurate and up-to-date.
  • Scheduling qualification, storyboarding sessions and review calls, as required - With several ongoing bids running concurrently alongside other preparatory business development and marketing activities, this is a key task.
  • Maintaining bid folder hierarchies, to enable effective internal knowledge management.
  • Collaborating proactively and effectively with several bid teams concurrently (often remotely, using SLACK), and co-ordinating proposal input sourced from a variety of stakeholders (i.e. technical, marketing, delivery, commercial and legal.)
  • Championing version control best practices, and ensuring proposal documents adhere to Naimuri’s branding guidelines, standard formatting quality, and security standards.
  • Updating Opportunities in C4C to reflect stages in the bidding cycle and related fields.

Strong IT literacy, organisational and collaboration skills are all prerequisites for this role, and being able to evidence high standards of written English is also a key requirement.

The ability to prioritise and take initiative within a dynamic environment, whilst paying

attention to detail are essential skills required for this role.

Being able to evidence a degree of fluency with Google Workspace tools (e.g. Docs, Sheets, Slides etc) and MS Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel etc) will be advantageous, although not essential as full training will be provided.

APMP Foundation certification would also be desirable.
