How Manchester Organisation are supporting sustainable SME business growth

This event has now ended.
7 February 2024 12:00 - 14:00

Manchester Metropolitan University, Greater Manchester Chamber and Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network have come together to host this SME-focused event in celebration of National Apprenticeship Week 2024. We’re giving you access to experts who can help demystify apprenticeships and support your business growth, helping you to overcome challenges with a range of services, solutions, and opportunities.

The Greater Manchester Local Skills Improvement plan tells us that skills are high on the agenda for most businesses in our region – and closing that skills gap is key to success, effectiveness and productivity. We’ve joined forces for this networking event – where you can interact with like-minded individuals, access funded support and navigate the apprenticeship and business support landscape.

You’ll be able to hear from our expert panellists, including:

  • Panel Chair: Jonathan Lawson, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Manchester Met
  • Matt Leigh, Programme Manager, Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network (GMLPN)
  • Liz Gorb, Director of Degree Apprenticeships, Manchester Met
  • Emma Holt, Senior Lecturer at Manchester Met and President of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce
  • Professor Jennie Shorley, Academic Director, Centre for Enterprise at Manchester Met
  • Ash Rishi, Founder, COUCH Health
